Auburn is one of the largest cities in South King County, and its housing stock is unusually varied for a single city — 1940s bungalows near downtown, mid-century ramblers on the valley floor, and thousands of newer multi-level homes climbing the hillsides on either side. That variety is exactly why a one-size-fits-all cleaning checklist tends to underperform here, and why Jack walks through what your specific home actually needs before quoting it.
These two hillside communities hold most of Auburn's newer residential construction, and they share a practical challenge: multi-level and split-level floor plans with long stair runs. A crew that treats stairs as an afterthought will leave your home half-clean. We bring equipment up rather than dragging one vacuum between floors, and stairs, landings, and railings are part of the standard scope rather than an upcharge. Lakeland Hills in particular has a high concentration of families on recurring bi-weekly schedules — it is one of our steadiest Auburn routes.
West Hill and the older neighborhoods around downtown represent Auburn's established housing: smaller footprints, original hardwood and tile, and the kind of detail work that rewards a crew paying attention. Homes here often have decades of build-up in the places a rushed clean skips — window tracks, baseboards, the tops of door frames, behind appliances. Recurring house cleaning. Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, on a fixed day with the same crew. This is most of what we do in Auburn. Every visit includes kitchens and bathrooms cleaned properly rather than wiped, floors vacuumed and mopped, dusting from baseboards to ceiling fans, and the details other services treat as extras — light switches, door handles, window sills, under furniture. One-time deep cleaning. Move-in and move-out cleaning. Timed to your walkthrough or closing date, focused on what actually determines whether a deposit comes back. We clean empty homes end to end — appliances inside and out, every cabinet and drawer, closets, fixtures, baseboards, and window tracks.
